A Certified Copy of a Marriage License is $9.00. If you need a Certified Copy of Your Marriage License, for your real ID, please email or call the office. To request a certified marriage record dated after 1936, please call the Shelby County Museum & Archives at 20, Tuesday through Friday, from 9 A.M. Due to the Covid-19 Virus the Court House doors including the Recorder’s Office will be closed to the Public until further notice. Indexes are available for 1824 through 1936 and are sorted alphabetically by the groom or brides last name.
